  • Correspondence relating to submissions, revisions, and editorial decisions
  • Fee waiver application details, where submitted

Peer reviewers:

  • Full name, institutional affiliation, and contact email address
  • Areas of expertise and keywords
  • Review reports, recommendations, and confidential comments
  • Payment details for reviewer honoraria, processed via secure payment services

Website visitors:

  • IP address and browser user-agent string (in server access logs)
  • Essential session cookies (see our Cookie Policy)
  • Any information you voluntarily submit via contact forms

We use AI tools for editorial triage, reviewer matching, integrity checks, revision assessment, and typesetting. All AI outputs are advisory. Final decisions are made by human editors. No manuscript content is used to train third-party AI models.

  • Payment processors — to collect fees, process refunds, and issue reviewer payments
  • AI service providers — to support editorial triage, integrity checks, and typesetting
  • DOI registration agencies — to register persistent identifiers for published articles

Consumer Terms of Sale

1. The Service

The APC of £2,495.00 covers submission handling, editorial assessment, peer review, and (if accepted) publication.

2. Payment

Due at submission, processed via our payment provider. Fee waivers available on a case-by-case basis.

3. Consumer Rights

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you can expect reasonable care and skill.

4. Cancellation

By submitting and paying, you request immediate commencement of services, losing the 14-day cooling-off right once work begins.

5. Refunds

40% refund on rejection after peer review. No refund on desk rejection, withdrawal, or acceptance.
